Reloading .NET definitely seems like a good idea. Let me know if it helped. So Thanks for that! Then i had a thought. I have an older xp machine and i would try to download it on that, and attempt to install. When i did the setup downloaded .NET framework 2.0 and installed without a hitch! ![]() So maybe i have to reload .NET framework 2.0 on my laptop? |

Hi
Just giving my input here Quote:
Quote:
All the search fields present above don't have defined any search criteria ... you can give it a shot doing something like this --- setup a search criteria which will enable you to make a full pull and also have a valid search setup --- price equal - greater than zero, sqft egual - greater than zero --- Hope that helps Kate |

It looks like you have selected bunch of criteria, but no value for
them. Go back to your Search Criteria tab and make sure there are some values for each criteria. OK i was able to configure fields more carefully and do a full pull.
I used the metadata browser to view it and it looked like a lot of info was there. Now how can i get this to display and auto schedule on a website? I can make databases on my server but do i use the RETSconnector for this or another client? Should i just generate a script with RETSconnector and try to figure how to cron on my server or should i use a client and which? Very confusing. Last edited by aspirin; 01-31-2010 at 11:27 PM. Reason: more info |

Create a task n RetsConnector, schedule it to run as often as you need, and in the Notification tab call a program that will parse the RETS data into your DB.
RetsConnector gets the data from server to your local file; you have to create a program that will get the data from the file to the DB (or website). |

Hey
It's a process which has a few stages, just as LiborV said ... doing the pull with RETS Connector it's one of them. After that you have to import the information from the files obtained with RETSConnector into the database (located on your server) You can do that by running an application after the RETSConnector pull finishes. This should connect to the database, and just import the information You can also do that by running a script on the server, which should be scheduled with a cron on the server (if you do that, the script should be able to "read" the information from your files) Hope that helps Kate |
